Dr. Maria “Duffy” Meyer opened High Plains Dental in September, 2011. A native of Killdeer, Dr. Duffy moved to Dickinson and wanted to serve the residents of southwestern North Dakota. One year after opening her four operatory practice, Dr. Duffy expanded the office with an additional three operatories and hired a second dentist to meet the growing needs of the community. In 2018, Dr. Duffy again expanded her practice into the twelve operatory dental practice you see today. The expansion allowed her to make bigger operatories to better accommodate patients in wheelchairs. The new waiting room features a children’s corner, complete with tablets and games for children.

High Plains Dental is an active participant of Dental Lifeline Network. Their programs, See One Vet and Donated Dental Services match patients needing dental treatment with dentists, laboratories and specialists volunteering their time and services. Dr. Duffy not only volunteers with Dental Lifeline Network, she is also on the advisory council, representing North Dakota. For more information, click the link below.
