Meet Our Staff

Dr. Maria "Duffy" Meyer, DDS

Dr. Duffy graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver, CO, where she earned these honors:

        • Dr. Solomom Averbach Humanitarian Award for demonstrating outstanding compassion and concern in patient care;
        • Academy of Osseointegration Award for outstanding dental student in implant dentistry;
        • American Academy of Pediatric Dentists Predoctoral¬† Student Award for outstanding promise in the field of pediatric dentistry;
        • Pierre Fauchard Award for outstanding academic achievements in dentistry.

She is active in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the North Dakota Dental Association, the West Slope Dental Association, and the Catholic Medical Association.  She volunteers with Donated Dental Services and Give Kids a Smile.

A native of Killdeer where she graduated from high school with highest honors, Dr. Duffy graduated summa cum laude from Dickinson State University with a BA/BS in biology and a BA in Spanish.  Prior to that, she earned an AA degree through an exchange student program at Minnesota State University Akita in Akita, Japan.

Dr. Duffy and her husband, Mathew Meyer, a Gladstone native, have six children:  Reilly, Hugh, Clancy, Rowdy, Hoyt, and Reagan. 

Dr. Melissa Eberts, DDS

Dr. Melissa Eberts was born and raised in Devils Lake, ND. She grew up fishing and enjoying the lake with her family.

Dr. Eberts attended the University of North Dakota for her undergraduate studies in health sciences, and remained active on campus during her time at UND. She then received early acceptance into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She volunteered every year for a program that serves many children that do not receive routine dental care, called Give Kids a Smile. While at the U of MN, she enjoyed the opportunity to be an ambassador for the dental school. Dr. Eberts also represented her dental class in an intra professional organization at the University of Minnesota.

Indian Health Services in Belcourt, ND recruited Dr. Eberts where she be began her dental career serving the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation. Dr. Eberts and her husband, Dr. Marvin Eberts, a South Heart native, resided in Bottineau, ND for a few years. They enjoyed being active in their church, North Dakota Young Professionals, and at the Dakota College of Bottineau. Dr. Eberts is also involved in the American Dental Association and the North Dakota Dental Association.

Dr. Eberts moved to Dickinson in 2012 to join High Plains Dental where she is looking forward to serving southwestern North Dakota and becoming an active member of the Dickinson community. Dr. Eberts and her husband enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, and skiing. Dr. Marvin Eberts, a chiropractor, moved to Dickinson and started a practice called HealthSource. They are excited to be a part of the growing Dickinson community. They have two children: Madelyn and Mack.

Christine, Dental Hygienist

Christine is a native of Dickinson. She is a 2011 graduate of North Dakota State College of Science with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. In her free time she enjoys spending time at Mosset Bay fishing and boating. She has a small dog, Paisley.




LaDonna, Dental Hygienist

LaDonna is a native of Dickinson. She is a 2000 graduate of North Dakota State College of Science with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. LaDonna and her husband, Mark, have four children. She enjoys spending time with her family at Elmer's Point boating and fishing.




Rachel, Dental Hygienist

Rachel is from Mott, North Dakota. She attended North Dakota State College of Science. She graduated in 1990 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Prior to that, she earned her certificate in dental assisting from NDSCS. Rachel and her husband, Eldon, also a native of Mott, stay busy attending sports activities with their two children. They enjoy fishing at their cabin at Pouch Bay and hunting in Mott.



Katie, Dental Hygienist

Katie was born and raised in Dickinson. She attended Minnesota State Community & Technical College, where she graduated in 2015 with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Katie enjoys traveling, being outside and going to concerts in her free time.



 

Dawn, Dental Hygienist

Dawn is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1995. Dawn is married to Jason and has two stepdaughters, Sienna and Brielle. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and cats. Dawn loves to travel, play pinochle and poker, and spend time working in her flower gardens.

 


Sarah, Dental Assistant

Sarah was born and raised in western Montana. She received her registration as a registered dental assistant from Dental Assisting National Board in 2004. Sarah has lived in Dickinson since 1998, and has two children. She enjoys crafts, art, home improvements, outdoors, camping, movies, music and spending time with family and friends.

 

 

Brooklyn, Dental Assistant

Brooklyn grew up in Dickinson. She received her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Assisting Degree from NDSCS and is a ND registered and Dental Assisting National Board Certified dental assistant. Brooklyn enjoys warm weather, visiting new places and being around family and friends.

 


Carly, Dental Assistant

Carly was born and raised in Dickinson. In 2012, she moved to Charlotte, NC, where she went to North Carolina Dental Assisting Training School and earned her certificate in Dental Assisting. In 2016 she decided to move back home with her son Kandon. She enjoys being outdoors and cooking.

 


Dulce "Nataliee", Dental Assistant

Nataliee was born and raised in Casa Grande, Arizona. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Carrington College in Mesa, Arizona in 2011. She moved to Dickinson with her parents, and has one son, Vladimir. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends, the outdoors, and music.




Caitlin, Office Coordinator

Caitlin is a Dickinson native. She attended Dickinson State University and Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, graduating with Business Education & Business Administration degrees, with minors in Office Administration & Graphic Design. Caitlin taught in Grand Forks for several years before moving back to Dickinson and joining High Plains Dental. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys making pottery, spending time with family and going to concerts.


Stephanie, Patient Account Representative

Stephanie grew up in Mandan, ND. She attended college for Medical Assisting. Stephanie and her family lived in Flasher, ND for the last 20 years where she worked at Flasher Public Schools. In March of 2013, they moved to Dickinson. Stephanie started her career as Patient Account Representative with High Plains Dental in December of 2013.

 

 

Pam, Patient Account Representative

Pam was born and raised in Dickinson. She joined the High Plains Dental staff in 2016. Pam and her husband, Josh, have three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children's sporting activities, and camping.


 

 

Laura, Patient Account Representative

Laura grew up in Brighton, Michigan. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Ross Medical Education Center in 2010. Laura and her husband Erick moved to Dickinson in November, 2016. Together, they enjoy exploring new places, camping, kayaking and hanging out with their chocolate lab, Dolly.

 


Melissa, Sterilization Technician

Melissa was born and raised in Dickinson. She is currently attending Dickinson State University. Melissa aspires to go to dental school after graduation so she is getting as much experience as she can at a dental office. Melissa's hidden talent is that she is able to name all the presidents in order.
